Cetoile (formerly known as Carlos Alves) is a singer-songwriter, storyteller, and creator based in Los Angeles. Born in the countryside of Camanducaia, Brazil, he grew up surrounded by music in church and developed an appreciation for diverse sounds early on. After moving to the U.S. in 2011, he expanded his influences, discovering new rhythms and blending styles that shaped his unique voice as an artist.

While building a full career in procurement, sourcing, and logistics, after graduating in International Business. Cetoile never stopped pursuing his passions for music, art, and storytelling. From 2017 to 2019, he was part of a Seattle-based band that performed in small venues, further fueling his love for performing and experimenting with sound. His music today draws from a wide spectrum, mixing pop, rock, R&B, country, and Latin inspirations, with echoes of late ’90s and early 2000s rock.

Since 2020, Cetoile has been fully embracing his artistic path, writing songs, stories, and building new worlds through his creations. His work reflects both his professional discipline from years in business and his boundless curiosity as an artist. Living in Los Angeles, he is committed to combining these different sides of his journey; one day at a time; and sharing more of his music and stories with the world.
